A RARE and American Classic Native Copper pseudomorph after Azurite Rose

Mount: Includes custom-etched acrylic display stand.

An exceptional "Copper Rose"—a classic American pseudomorph of Native Copper after bladed Azurite. This specimen, held in a private collection for years, features razor-sharp crystal definition and a rich, deep antique patina that highlights its complex, bladed architecture.

These specimens are a geological marvel: originating as native copper, they were oxidized into Azurite rosettes and then, through a second geochemical event, were replaced molecule-by-molecule back into Native Copper while perfectly preserving the Azurite's delicate form.

Presented on a bespoke etched stand, this is a "legacy" piece for a serious collector. It captures the pinnacle of New Mexico mineral history at a size that is ideal for display

The deep antique patina of this native copper is best viewed in person; the camera struggles to capture the sharp, three-dimensional depth of the blades.
